Bay Area Home Inspections is very excited about California recovering from the COVID19 pandemic. We are able to wear gloves and masks during the inspections which is mostly based on client requirements. All of our staff members are fully vaccinated. We continue to monitor inspectors for symptoms and perform temperature checks regularly. We perform video walks with the client while we are onsite and once the inspection is completed depending on the need of each client.

An independent, unbiased review of your home or commercial property based on more than
300 factors.
Because of the decades of experience and use of the latest infrared scanners, concrete scanning equipment, thermal imaging systems, high-density moisture scanners, drones, and other testing tools, our home inspections are often fast and non-invasive.
Depending on the size and condition of the property and type of service, our inspection will usually take between
1 - 4 hours.

We begin by asking you about any particular problem areas you want us to focus on, any special needs you may have or deadlines you are looking to meet. At the end of the call, we will schedule a time for an onsite inspection.The Inspection
As we perform the inspection, we document any possible problem areas and take high definition photographs. Our goal is not only to identify and evaluate obvious problems, but also determine the true condition of your property based on what's hiding beneath the surface.The Final Report
When we are finished with the property inspection, we create a detailed report outlining what we found along with digital phones and diagrams, the criticality of each problem area, and clear suggestions for remediation. Our termite inspections are conducted by licensed termite inspectors. Most lending institutions require that homes in California be inspected for wood destroying pests and organisms (WDO) prior to financing a home loan.
Roof Inspections
Our roof inspection covers all elements of the roof and its systems. This includes all of the major elements of the roof as well as additional interconnected systems that have waterproofing connections with coverings.

Our Multi-Unit Home Inspections usually take longer than conventional homes due to complexity of these inspections. The Inspection covers all elements of the building from the roof to the foundation. Foundation Inspections
Foundation inspections are an important part of home ownership in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is due to the fact that much of the housing stock is older and may have been constructed with different methods and techniques than modern foundations. There are many other factors like drainage and reinforcement to be considered by a Licensed Inspector when performing these inspections.
